CMC Impact Metals high strength steel plate provides greater strength compared to standard steel plate. Offered in KSI range from 100 – 160, it can be welded, is formable and ready to be CNC cut-to-fit. Meets chemical and specific mechanical properties and specifications in the U.S. and Canada. Primarily for use in long-haul truck frames, heavy brackets, construction cranes and rail cars. Also for use in structural designs where higher strength-to-weight is required.
Steel plate, heat-treated to various strength levels while retaining good toughness. Product is intended for use in applications requiring a combination of high strength, weldability, and toughness.
We produce high-strength steel plate in grades from 100 KSI up to 160 KSI.
