Technical Assistant Program
CMC Steel Arkansas and CMC Southern Post with our affiliated companies, recognize the need to prepare for the future by having well trained, qualified personnel as part of our individual management teams.
To ensure these people are prepared to assume key responsibilities when called upon, the Company must first recruit those individuals who have a formal engineering, marketing or business degree; and secondly, provide an opportunity to learn every aspect of the business.
The Company's Technical Assistant training program includes extensive loop training throughout the steelmaking operation. Participants will gain a complete understanding of the steelmaking process, the business aspect of each department as related to people, quality, costs, efficiencies and productivity – always keeping in mind the importance of meeting customer needs.
