Reinforcing Steel

Our reinforcing steel bars are produced in all ASTM sizes, from 10mm (#3) through 57mm (#18) deformed and up to 2” diameter as smooth bars, in full accordance to ASTM standards, and in lengths from 20’ to 64’.

Rebar produced by CMC Steel Texas is 100% melted and manufactured in the USA, and is free of mercury contamination in the process. It meets "Buy America" requirements for Federal-aid highway construction in addition to all state and local domestic content requirements.

CMC is at the forefront of environmentally-friendly steelmaking procedures. We are committed to using the latest technology to minimize our environmental footprint.

  • Dust, once the most voluminous by-product in the steelmaking process, has been virtually eliminated by baghouse air filtering technology.
  • Iron and other metals filtered in baghouses are recycled.
  • Water used in our steelmaking process is completely recycled, cleaned and used for landscaping our facilities.
