About CMC Recycling

CMC Recycling began its history in 1915 with the founding of American Iron & Metal Company in Dallas, Texas. Today, CMC Recycling operates more than 45 scrap metal processing facilities strategically located throughout the southwest and southeastern United States.

With an emphasis on safety and environmental compliance, CMC Recycling is a leader in the preparation of scrap metal for consumers throughout the world, with the capacity to process over three million tons of scrap metal annually. And by keeping a constant focus on customer service, CMC Recycling has grown into one of the largest processors of nonferrous scrap metals and one of the largest regional processors of ferrous scrap metals in the United States.

Recycled metals are sold around the world to steel mills, including steel minimills owned by CMC, specialty steel producers, high-temperature alloy manufacturers, foundries, aluminum refineries and mills, and copper and brass mills. Our customers, who may be individuals or dealers of industrial accounts, know they can rely on us for dependable end-to-end scrap management solutions and competitive pricing. At CMC Recycling, we have the ability to customize solutions to meet each customer’s unique needs.

Using innovative processes, state-of-the-art separation technologies and modern shredding systems, we provide the most sophisticated metal processing services available. (See the Services tab for more information.)
