CMC is at the forefront of environmentally-friendly steelmaking procedures. We are committed to using the latest technology to minimize our environmental footprint.
- Dust, once the most voluminous by-product in the steelmaking process, has been virtually eliminated by baghouse air filtering technology.
- Iron and other metals filtered in baghouses are recycled.
- Water used in our steelmaking process is completely recycled, cleaned and used for landscaping our facilities.
