 CMC Joist & Deck has responded professionally by regularly scheduling additional man-hours in shop and engineering technical center overtime to effectively deal with these circumstances. Additionally, CMC Joist & Deck routinely dispatches project management team members to visit each client’s regional offices bi-annually to review our integration with their regional management teams. These visits have created a climate for better personal communication and "out of the box" construction scheduling ideas The result has been the evolution of a compressed approval to delivery process. We have seen a two weeks savings in the overall project construction cycle since the first year of our first client partnership. CMC Joist & Deck’s Engineering Centers’ team members are also required to visit our client’s regional engineering teams. Here value engineering ideas are discussed and debated to save both project time and money.
