History
CMC Impact Metals joined Commercial Metals Company in 1997 when privately held Allegheny Heat Treating was acquired by CMC after many years of providing heat treating services to CMC’s Alabama steel mill. Since this time CMC has supported the division’s growth by investing millions of dollars in state-of-the-art processing equipment and the expansion to three processing facilities with a wide array of capabilities.
