Alabama Plant

CMC Impact Metals Alabama facility is located in Pell City, about 30 miles east of Birmingham about 2 miles from Interstate 20.  The facility was established in 2006 after purchsing a group of existing buildings on approximately 20 acres of land developed by the St. Clair Co. Industrial Board. 

The facility currently has about 200,000 square feet under roof and has two roller hearth quench and temper lines that can process structural shapes, flat products, rounds, and related products up to 55 feet in length. 

Straightening/flattening equipment includes horizontal and vertical hydraulic presses, two plane automatic flat bar straightener, and plate leveler.

Cutting and finishing equipment includes a 60' plasma cutting table, 60' dual head laser cutting table, band saw, and a shot blast and powder coat line.
