General Description
This position will be responsible for support and development of the Remedy ticketing system used for global IT services.
Essential Functions
- Develops procedures and processes for application development, upgrades, and support of the Help Desk ticketing system.
- Documents changes to the application, configuration builds, and server build documents
- Coordinates with other IT areas to resolve problems within the application and functionality
- Ensure configuration changes will be in compliance to upgrade application
- Creating, developing, and maintaining the end user portal and service catalog
- General operation of the application on the development and production environments
- Coordinate upgrades, patching, and revision changes with IT management
- Coordinate activities with other Remedy Developers in team, but also be able to work independently on assigned tasks and projects
- Comply with Change & Release Management processes in development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years Application Support and Development experience in relation to ERP ticketing systems for Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management .
- Requires experience with Remedy Action Request System (ARS) 7.x and Remedy ITSM Suite 7.x.
- Familarity with BMC Atrium CMDB 2.x or higher and BMC Service Request Management 2.x is a plus.
- Must have broad range of IT experience and excellent leadership, coordination, and customer service skills.
- Must have familiarity or certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
