Community Involvement

The people of CMC have a tradition of caring about their communities. CMC employees serve on boards, committees and in organizations that build homes, plant trees, mentor students and raise charitable funds among many other endeavors. CMC believes we have a responsibility to make our communities stronger, healthier and more vibrant. Our CMC Steel Mills are no exception and they continue a tradition of service and donations to worthy organizations including America’s Walk for Diabetes, the American Heart Association and United Way. Also, our CMC Steel Mill employees themselves step up by contributing to these causes. In support of education in our communities our Mills also contributed scholarship funds. The Steel Manufacturer’s Association has, in the past, recognized CMC with the Achievement in Community Involvement Award. CMC Steel Arizona plans a future of continuing these traditions here in Mesa, Arizona.
